She joined Menchaca & Cía team in 2020.
Virginia focuses her professional practice in the areas of Corporate Law, Free Competition, Compliance and Regulated Markets.
She studied Law at Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. She did a summer internship in 2017 at Concha & Zavala law firm and worked at Menchaca & Cía law firm in 2018. She participated in an exchange during the first semester of 2019 at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C, United States. At the end of the same period, she did an internship at the NGO Americans for Tax Reform, specifically in one of its projects called The Property Rights Alliance.
She graduated as a lawyer in 2021, completing and working as coordinating assistant the same year of the Free Competition Diploma at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
In the academic field, she has been an assistant in various courses taught in Pontificia Universidad Católica: Assistant of the Economic Law Courses I and II (2015-today), Coordinating Assistant of the UC Free Competition Center (2021), Assistant of the OPR “Abuse of dominant position and exclusionary practices ”(2021); Coordinator of the “Supreme Court Jurisprudential Systematization Research Seminar” (2020-2021); Assistant of the “OPR Bioethics and Person” (2017).
