Nicolás Larraín U.

He joined Menchaca & Cia in 2022.

Nicolas focuses his practice in the areas of anti-trust, civil litigation, arbitration, Compliance and Regulated Markets.

He studied Law at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile, graduating in 2022, with a minor in criminal law. During the year 2019 he was part of the team of the P. Universidad Católica de Chile in the “International Arbitration Competition” obtaining the first place. During the year 2020 he completed the course of Best Practices in Competition law of the P. Universidad Católica de Chile. During the year 2021, he was a member of the P. Universidad Católica de Chile team that participated in the “Mootcomp”, being semifinalist and receiving the award for the best lawsuit.

Previously, he worked as a law clerk of the National Economic Prosecutor’s Office (FNE) between 2019 and 2021. He also worked as an intern at the Supreme Court in the year 2021.

In the academic field, he has been assistant of several courses taught by the Pontificia Universidad Catolica: Economic Law I and II (2018-2022); Criminal Law (2019-2022); «Research Seminar» (2020); Assistant of the “Justice Reforms Program” (2020-2022); Assistant of the “UC Free Competition Center” (2021); and Assistant of the Center of Corporate Governance of the same university (2021).
